iPod shuffle 의 경우 다른 iPod 과는 달라서 2 GB, 4 GB 이렇게 단순히 용량이 많아진다고 결코 좋지만은 않을 것이라는 이야기입니다.

용량이 증가하면 Apple Losseless 나 AIFF 와 같은 대용량의 파일들을 탑재할 수 있겠지만, iPod shuffle 특유의 컨트롤 방식으로 효율적으로 이 수많은 곡들을 제어할 수 있겠느냐는 것입니다.
