17-inch 1.8 GHz, 2.0 GHz, 그리고 20-inch 2.0 GHz iMac G5 모두 좋은 평가를 받았지만, 공히 고도 조절이 불가능하고 프론트 포트가 없다는 점이 단점으로 지적되었습니다.

특히 17-inch 모델에 비해 20-inch iMac G5 는 와이드스크린과 대용량 하드드라이브, 충분한 메모리, 더블레이어 SuperDrive 를 장착하고도 가격이 인하되므로서 마우스 5개 만점에 4개 반을 받았군요.
