PowerBook 으로부터 SoundSticks (혹은 기타 외장 사운드출력장치) 를 빼고 쓰다가 다시 SoundSticks 를 물리면, 이를 자동으로 재인식하지 못하고 사운드 출력 옵션이 파워북 내장 스피커로 바뀌어 있어 다시금 SoundSticks 로 지정해 줘야 하는 번거로움이 있습니다. 이때 단번에 "사운드 출력 -> SoundSticks" 로 바꾸어 주는 유용한 AppleScript 를 소개하고 있습니다.

만일 SoundSticks 대신 다른 스피커를 쓴다면 위 스크립트 상에서 "SoundSticks" 대신 해당 스피커의 이름을 적어주면 되겠습니다. 첨부한 "SwitchToSoundSticks" 는 이를 애플리케이션으로 만들어 놓은 것입니다. 단축키 등으로 지정해 놓고 써도 좋겠습니다.

추신: 한편 첨부한 또다른 애플리케이션인 "SwitchSoundOutput" 은 원하는 출력 장치를 선택하는 창을 한번 거치도록 합니다 (그림 참조).

일단 지금 이사중이라 외부 스피커가 없어서 실험은 못해봤습니다.
하지만 system preference 를 제어하는 applescript를 좀 찾고 있었는데 크게 도움이 될듯 합니다.
